The principal objective of the Level 7 Diploma in Data Science qualification is to develop the knowledge and skills and construct the means for extracting business-focused insights from data. This requires understanding how value and information flow in a business, and the ability to use that understanding to identify business opportunities.

Learners will become competent and reflective practitioners, related to their current role, and in preparation for more challenging roles in the future.

STAGE TWO: MSc Data Science TOP-UP – 4 – 6 MONTHS (In partnership with London Graduate School, UK)

TOP-UP (UNIVERSITY) PROGRESSION

Students can pursue a Master’s degree programme in partnership with London Graduate School, UK after completing this course. The top-up programme is available both online and on campus. The final 60 credits of the top-up are made up of either a dissertation or a dissertation and one module.

Entry requirements

For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Data Science qualification, learners must possess:

• An honours degree in a related subject or a UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
• Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
• Learner must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course

English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.
