It was taken during our Strategic Leadership Training in Kenya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n But it raises an interesting question:<\/p>\n What does it mean when experienced leaders are this engrossed?<\/strong><\/p>\n Experienced executives do not give their attention easily.<\/p>\n Over the years, they have sat through countless meetings, presentations, and training sessions. They know the difference between information that is simply interesting and information that is truly valuable.<\/p>\n So, when a room full of leaders leans in like this, it means something.<\/p>\n The ideas being shared are relevant. They are practical. Most importantly, they are worth their attention.<\/p>\n Everyone in this room has already built a strong career.<\/p>\n They could rely entirely on their experience. Instead, they chose to stay curious.<\/p>\n They came to the training ready to learn, question, and grow. They treated the experience as an opportunity rather than a formality.<\/p>\n That combination is powerful:<\/p>\n Success paired with humility. Great leaders understand that learning does not stop when you reach the top.<\/p>\n In fact, some of the strongest leaders are those who remain willing to learn from others, challenge their assumptions, and explore new ways of thinking.<\/p>\n Look closely at the room.<\/p>\n This is not passive listening.<\/p>\n The participants are actively engaging with the ideas being presented. They are thinking about how those ideas connect with their own experiences, decisions, and challenges.<\/p>\n That is what makes executive learning so valuable.<\/p>\n Participants are not simply taking in information.
